Closing out 2023

2023 caused a lot of self reflection. Cutting off access to me and my mental was at an all time high this year. Looking back at it, it was oddly satisfying. I feel like I removed a lot of dead weight. My Final Cut was a little deeper than I expected it to be, but I had to choose me. At the same time this cut made me realize or further confirmed that some people are really ok leaving things where they are and don't have the capacity to care or fight. I found peace in acceptance and took away the lessons I learned from this particular relationship. I found my voice, I strengthened my relationships with friends, I set boundaries, I was forced to find happiness with myself while also making time to date myself, most importantly I found my legs and walked away. I didn't see this ending for me in 2023 but I did see happiness in 2024. I was asked for forever friendship and if they couldn't do the bare minimum in our previous relationship I doubt that much will change this go around, but if thats what they want than they need to do the work. Baby I'm tapped TF OUT. You want it figure it out!
